The Honorable Donald J. Trump President of the United States
The White House 1600 Pennsylvania Ave NW Washington, DC 20500

Dear President Trump,

We, representatives of concerned organizations, are urging you to sign an Executive Order to designate the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) a “transnational criminal organization

(TCO).” The evidence of the CCP’s global criminality is clear and convincing. Such designation would be consistent with your Executive Order on Enforcing Federal Law with Respect to Transnational Criminal Organizations and Preventing International Trafficking, issued on February 9, 2017.

The CCP maliciously propagated the COVID-19 pandemic, which killed 203,000 in the US and almost 1 million people worldwide. It ravages our families and society with debilitating health and economic effects.

The CCP illegally claimed and occupied the South China Sea, impacting 1/3 of the world’s maritime trade.

The CCP’s campaign of forced organ harvesting against victims numbers 60,000 to 100,000 transplants per year. The CCP’s $1 billion world-wide trade of the illegal organs is a crime against humanity and one of the world’s worst atrocities committed in modern times.

The CCP built system of massive dams on the Mekong River and deprived tens of millions of people of 5 countries including Myanmar, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, and Vietnam of their livelihood.

The CCP’s Belt and Road Initiative plans world domination through an economy based on Chinese debt traps to seize control of land, seaports and infrastructure from economically vulnerable countries across the Asia-Pacific region and Africa.

The CCP imprisoned millions of Uyghurs, ethnic Kazakhs and members of other minority groups in indefinite internment camps, with forced abortions, sterilizations and organ harvesting.

The CCP has exploited and raided world’s natural resources, wreaking unprecedented damage to our ecosystems.

The CCP manufactured and transmitted lethal synthetic narcotics, including fentanyl and fentanyl analogs, which caused more than 31,335 overdose deaths in the US in 2018 alone.

The CCP perpetrated and proliferated IP embezzlement and economic espionage on Americans and U.S. businesses, resulting in theft and loss of vast wealth and prosperity.

– In 2014, the CCP hacked Anthem insurance, collecting sensitive information on 80 million
– In 2015, the CCP hacked the Office of Personnel Management, which holds security clearance information, acquiring sensitive data on 20 million Americans who work for the federal
– In 2016, a Chinese company even bought the dating app Grindr to harvest its data, including the HIV status of users, before the U.S. government forced a divestiture on national security
– In 2017, it hacked Equifax, obtaining the names, birthdates, social security numbers, and credit scores of 145 million
– In 2019, the CCP hacked Marriott, gathering information on 383 million guests, including their passport
– The CCP suppresses human rights and seeks total control of the Chinese people, including economic, physical, and thought control. With the recent passage of a dangerous Chinese law which mandated infiltration of the CCP in foreign owned companies, the CCP effectively exports this suppression to the rest of the world.
– The CCP is responsible for China being the main source and a significant transit and destination country for men, women, and children who are subjected to human trafficking, specifically forced labor and forced prostitution.
– “The death and destruction caused by this is incalculable. We must have answers not only for us but for the rest of the world,” as you have said in your Rose Garden speech on May 29, 2020.

We, the undersigned, believe one such answer is to designate the CCP a “transnational criminal organization” through the power of an Executive Order. Such designation would help protect the United States and the world from a clear and present danger, which is the Chinese Communist Party.

Thank you for your consideration. We wish you a speedy recovery.

Sincerely,
